As we head into autumn, and often have cooler mornings, and evenings, we've pulled together some tips and ideas as we transition into cooler weather.
The layering guide
Layering is one of the easiest ways to transition into cooler weather and can be added or removed throughout the day as the weather changes. Start with a base layer, add a mid-layer, and then an easy-to-remove third and final layer. Below are some layering tips and ideas to see you through the season-
- Base layer - these can work on their own, or be used under other pieces, like basic tops, shirts, or thin knits
- Mid layer - this is where texture and trend pieces can be added. Jumpers, shackets and waistcoats work well
- Third layer - these are the pieces that can easily be on and off, like trench coats, barn jackets, and blazers, and can add more trend styling
