How to fit a bra correctly
Step one
Measure under the bust for your band size.
Wrap a tape measure around your ribcage, it should fit snugly and flat directly under the bust.
Step two
Measure across the bust for your cup size.
Place the tape to sit naturally around the fullest part of your bust. Make sure the tape is sitting smoothly across your back.
Step three
Now test the fit of the band.
Lift your arms to check the bra stays in place. The bra should sit flat against your ribcage and fully surround your breast tissue not lifting.
Step four
Finally perfect the straps.
The straps should feel snug but not too tight, easily allowing two fingers to slide under comfortably.
Common fit problems
Why is my bra riding up my back?
When your bra is riding up your back it can often mean the band is too loose. Opt for a smaller band size for a better fit.
Why does the underwire in my bra hurt?
If the underwire in your bra is uncomfortable your bra maybe too small. To solve this ensure the underwire sits flat against the ribcage comfortably, surrounding all of the breast tissue.
Why do my boobs come out of the bottom of my bra?
If your breast spill out of the cups at the top, sides or bottom the cups are too small. Refer to our ultimate fit guide to find the right size.
Why do my straps keep falling off?
The straps on your bra maybe too close or too far apart. Tighten the straps or choose a bra with closer-set straps.
Why doesnt my bra stay in place when I move?
If your bra moves when you lift your arms the band may be too loose, or the cups arent providing enough coverage. Make sure the band is firm and the cups are fully enclosing your breasts.
Why do I have back bulges that appear under my clothes?
If bulges are appearing it usually indicates your cup is too small, try adjustingyour size for a smooth and comfortable fit.
Why do my bra straps dig into my shoulders?
The straps are digging into your shoulders because your band maybe too loose adding access weight on the straps. Adjust the band for more support.
What does it mean when your bra has gaps?
