Great LBD
Love this dress. Can be dressed up or down. Very easy to wear. Good length (I’m only 5’2”). Did take the advice of other reviews and went a dress size up.

Love the style - hate the shedding!
I love the style and fit of this dress - but embarrassing when I wore it it sheds black fluff everywhere. My mum literally had to hoover when I left her house. There is obviously something wrong with the material - I did not return as I love the style and want to wear it. I have washed it and hope that this will help with the shedding but thought it Important that you are aware. I attach a picture of my bedroom floor where I got changed to show the extent of the shedding.

Dress nice Xmas returns policy not
Had to send entire order back due to Sainsburys returns policy couldn’t risk items not fitting and no option to return after Xmas.

Love the (appropriate) length of this dress and the corduroy is soft and comfortable. I took the advise of others and sized up. Such a classic style that can be dressed up or down!

Unfortunately tight across the bust!
It is a lovely dress, but unfortunately too tight across the bust, will have to return.

May fit other bodies better
I really wanted to like this dress. The fabric feels like it'll last, and it has more shape than similar styles I've seen, which hang off the bust and don't flatter my figure. It has the potential to go with various accessories and could've been a real wardrobe staple. Sadly, this dress is not cut for my combination of large bust and long torso. I followed other's advice and ordered one size up, which would have worked for my bust if it weren't for the darting which pulled the front of the dress down to sit on my waist, and made the collar sit uncomfortably tight at the back of my neck. The bodice shaping was too short for my torso and so the dress sat oddly above my hips. Fit across shoulders and sleeves was OK (the sleeves are quite roomy). I feel that going up another size would fit too loose. I'm sure it would be a great buy for someone with a different shape to me!

Nice black dress
I bought for my daughter to wear to a funeral and it was perfect. She is under 5 foot so it was longer length on her. She usually wears a size 12 but we sized up to a 14 and glad we did.
