Khaki Corduroy Barrel Trousers 10

Too short in the leg

I bought these with the hope they were the same fit as the barrel leg jeans that I bought x2 pairs of over the summer. Unfortunately this is not the case. They are a slimmer fit over the hips which, fortunately is still ok for me but they are too short! !and as there is not the option of x2 lengths as with the jeans this is annoying. I am only 5ft 4 inch and they come up cropped. The colours and fabric are great so I am disappointed that you do not offer a long length as an option.

Lovely corduroy trousers

Bought these 2 weeks ago and have worn them a lot. The colour is much nicer than it looks in the picture. I initially bought an 8 and a 10 and the 8 were fine but I opted for the slightly roomier 10. Oh for a size 9. They are very comfy and not too short on my 5ft 4 frame which is good. Very reasonable price and lovely soft corduroy. They are quite high cut but that might just be me. Wish they came in some more vivid colours like a burnt orange but muted palettes seem to be the order of the day. If you’re thinking about buying them, I’d say you won’t be disappointed

Lovely fabric

These are lovely but had to return them as the waist was too tight. Unsual as I always get size 16 from TU and have a problem.

Nice colours

I first saw these in Edinburgh but not in my size so ordered on-line; an easy process. I bought both the brown and khaki. My only quibble is the length. Being 5ft 1 I had to take them up. Great colours, shape and waist fit. I bought size 12.

Very wide and unflattering cut on me

Based on the size guide, I am between a 16 and 18. The size 16s fit well around the waist and tum but the legs are soooo wide at the thighs they looked like clown trousers on me. I have barrel leg trousers from another brand that I find flattering and modern, but these Tu ones looked dreadful. I was also surprised that although I am only 5' 4" the legs were only just long enough and might have been too short if they shrunk slightly in the wash or ride up with wear. It is frustrating that the nearby Sainsbury's with a large clothing dept has closed its changing rooms - which might have avoided me having to order and then return everything.
