Dark Red Corduroy Midi Dress 18

Lovely needlework pinafore dress.

I was delighted with the colour and quality of this dress, I have a variety of tops I could wear with this or could even wear without. I was worried it might be a bit young for me ( am 76) but it's knee le gth and very flattering.

I had already bought the red one & loved everything about it so decided to buy the blue one.It looked as if it had been washed on the wrong cycle & ironed too hot.Returned without even trying it on

You’ll either love it or hate it

I’m a UK10, ordered an 8 as per previous reviews. I suspect I could have possibly gone to a 6. As an empire line pinafore, it’s very generous in size and probably wider than you would expect. However it does look cute - and the corduroy texture is very fine so it’s softer than you’d expect too. Very much reminded me of a maternity dress I had in the 00s. The blue is more of a softer cornflour blue rather than navy but it looks great teamed with a Peter Pan collared shirt or a frill neck blouse. You’ll either love it or hate it. I loved it.

Not navy blue!

Cute looking dress but longer than I expected so not flattering on me and it is definitely not navy blue but grey.Had high hopes but sadly had to return.

A useful roomy dress

I returned this item as I thought the colour was very pale compared to the image shown. The dress is very full and I did not like the style when I tried it on.

Shapeless, giant tent.

Possibly the worst thing I've ever bought from Tu (& I have A LOT). This just looked like a shapeless tent and a belt or cardigan could not rescue it. Had to return it as it looked so awful. I imagine if you're a size 10 or below it will look nice but even though I sized down it still looked horrible. Definitely wouldn't recommend getting it if you are above a size 10 but if you do, size down 3 sizes at least. I really wanted to love it, the material and colour are lovely, but the design and fit are awful.

Great design and fabric

Great design and colour... Love it and I think that it is a shame that some think that they can't purchase good fashion from a Supermarket that has been in business for a long time. I will never support 'other' suppliers. We need to keep our high street brands going.

Great fit and stylish dress

This dress is a great length and the corded material is a lovely texture and quality. The fit and drape are very flattering and make this a perfect dress for work.

Comfortable and versatile

Love this style, and feel of this dress. Would definitely size down, as I know the style is very forgiving, but I bought in my normal size and it was far too wide under my arms. I sized down and it looked lots better.
