Strange fit and not flattering.
Such a shame. I really wanted to love this skirt but it was far too bulky and the fastenings around the waist were very odd and made the skirt hang quite strangely. Size 16 and made me look enormous, Sadly had to return.

Great quality skirt
Very good quality skirt, amazing for the price. Fabric good with a nice check and mix of colours, and fully lined. One pleat pulls open a little but this may be me being a little heavier than usual size-wise. Would recommend. Looking forward to cooler weather to get into it with knitwear and jackets.

Happy with the skirt it’s well made and good quality for the price . I knew from the photo it was going to be quite long , and it was ! Could have done with being a couple of inches shorter to be ideal for me but I am only 5 foot 3 inches .

I wasn't expecting this to be as well made as it is at this price but it is well worth the money. It is a lovely fit, with nice material and being lined is a bonus!

As someone who sews a lot my opinion is that you might just be able to shorten it if you know what you are doing. However, it has pleats so it will be difficult to keep the pleats in shape . You would also have to shorten the lining. A professional alteration shop would charge much more than you paid for it as quite a bit of work is involved. Personally, if I bought it I would just leave it at the maxi length. Hope this helps!
