If you'd like to return any items bought online from Tu.co.uk, we will be happy to refund your item(s) provided they are returned in a fully resaleable condition and within 30 days of receipt. Items purchased from Friday 27 September 2024 to Wednesday 25 December 2024 can be returned right up to Friday 31 January 2025.
In line with our returns policy, please ensure items are unused and in their original packaging with tags still attached alongside your proof of purchase, such as your store receipt, delivery note or order confirmation email.
If you would like to return your order, you can use the following methods:
Return to store (free)
To return in-store, please check below for your return options...
- If you have collected from an Argos store you can return to any Argos store or Argos collection point.
- If you have collected from a Sainsbury’s store, you can return to any Sainsbury’s store with a Tu collection point.
- If you have ordered for home delivery, you can return to any Argos store or Tu collection point inside Sainsbury’s.
You can find your nearest participating store or Tu Click & Collect store by using our online store locator.
Return by post (£3.50)
Any delivery or collection order can also be returned via the Royal Mail;
- Re-package your item(s), with original packaging and labels attached
- Fill in the return’s paperwork (if you still have it). All paperwork can be found in the original parcel, included on this is a pre-paid returns label
- If you no longer have the original paperwork, you can write your order number on a piece of paper, put it in the parcel and send it back to us.
- Attach the pre-paid returns label to your parcel & take this to your nearest Post Office.
Postal returns cost £3.50 which is deducted from your refund amount. If any of the items that you are returning are faulty, you will not be charged to return your items.
If you no longer have your original pre-paid returns labelling, you can head to www.royalmail.com/track-my-return/pick-a-retailer, select “Sainsburys” from the list of retailers and have a new label sent to your email address.
Unfortunately, we can't offer exchanges either in store or via post for items bought online.
If your order is unsuitable you can return your items using our available returns processes and place a new order on our website. Alternatively, you can visit one of our stores.
We’ll start processing your refund as soon as we receive your returned items.
- If you returned your items to a store it could take up to 5-7 working days for your refund to show in your bank account.
- If you returned your items via post, it could take up to 14 working days for your order to be refunded.
- If you paid for your order via PayPal it could take up to 30 working days for you to receive your refund.

Yes, as long as you are returning within 30 days and you are returning all the items in your order together. If you only return part of your order, we will not refund your original delivery charge. If your item is faulty, we will refund your delivery charge.

If your items were part of a promotion, such as a multibuy offer and you only return one of these items, we will refund you using the appropriate ratio. If you returned your item in the post a £3.50 charge will have been deducted from your refund amount, unless your item is faulty . Items must be returned in new, fully resellable condition within 30 days. If an item has been used or handled unreasonably, we may reduce the amount refunded or not refund it at all.
If you haven't received your refund within 3-5 working days then please contact us . For security, please ensure you have your order number to hand when contacting our customer service centre.
If you’d like to return any items bought online from Tu.co.uk, we will be happy to refund your item(s) provided they are returned in a fully resaleable condition and you have cancelled the order within 30 days of receipt. We offer a 1-year return policy for most of our products when there's been a manufacturer's fault. This doesn't cover fault or damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, or normal wear or tear. In addition, we offer a 150 day guarantee return on school uniform (including footwear) if you are not satisfied with the quality of such items with your proof of purchase you can exchange or refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.
E-vouchers: Any e-vouchers used will be refunded separately and sent to the email address you used when you checked out.
Promotional codes: If using a promotional voucher on site, our codes are single use, non-transferable, and non-refundable. Once the code has been redeemed no change will be given.
Klarna returns
As soon as Tu has confirmed with Klarna that your cancellation / return has been accepted, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due. You will see the return in the Klarna app immediately. As soon as we’ve registered your cancelation or your return, the refund will normally be processed within 10 days. Refunds will be issued back to the debit or credit card which was originally used at checkout.
Once Tu has received the partial return and Klarna have received our confirmation, an updated statement with an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you by Klarna. You are always able to monitor the status of your order in the Klarna app.
You can log in the Klarna app or at www.klarna.com/uk, where you will find all of your orders and payment schedule information. Visit the Klarna app / Klarna’s Customer Service page for a full list of FAQs, live chat and telephone options.
You do not need to pay for goods that are received damage, broken or faulty. Please contact Tu within 30 days of receiving the item and follow the dispute instructions. Make sure to also select “Report a problem” in your Klarna account to pause your statement until you’ve resolved the dispute. If you register a cancellation or return with Argos, the refund will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation, or collection date.
As soon as we’ve registered your cancelation or your return, the refund will normally be processed in 5-7 business days.
