Bought as a casual comfortable piece for the warmer weather as oversized/loose fitting and thin material for those occasions where I don't want to wear a Tshirt. Looks great with a smart pair of jeans, which is why I bought it.
Love this shirt. Really comfortable and lightweight. Quality good for price. Ordered a size 14 and it's a generous fit which I'm ok with as I intend to wear as an over shirt with jeans or shorts.
I collected this from Sainsbury Staines, and noticed that the packaging was damaged, part of the hanger plus shirt were poking out one corner.
When I opened it at home I found damage on the right shoulder with part of the hanger poking through the fabric causing a hole. I returned it to the shop and am waiting for a refund.
I found the colour insipid, although described as yellow it’s a very pale lemon, almost beige. I’m a size14. Going off reviews I ordered size 12 but it was still huge all over, wide and long (on me at 5’3” the bottom hem reached my knees), the sleeves are also overly long. The collar is floppy. Fabric is light, soft and drapey but is thin and creases, upon washing it be prepared for thorough pressing of it. The fabric is linen like as described and has a slight sheen but looks like a cheap, viscose version of a look-alike linen - overall I wasn’t impressed. Being very long it would crease badly as soon as you sit down, and at the sleeves upon bending your arm. Imagine after being sat in a car seat upon removing the seat belt. Not for me.
This is oversized, I bought my usual size (10) but could have done with a size smaller to be honest, drowns me a bit!
Still a lovely shirt, fabric is lovely and light. It washes and irons nice too.
This shirt is lovely. Its soft, the material (cheesecloth) is light and airy and sooo comfortable. I would recommend getting a smaller size than you would normally get. Its great to wear on its own or over a sleeveless top.
