My 30-month-old son wore these for a few hours today, walking through light snow, and I took great care in making sure he avoided puddles. However, after getting home and taking his shoes off, I was shocked to find that his socks were absolutely soaked. Yes, they might not have been waterproof, but surely boots marketed as "snow boots" should be able to take a reasonable level of playing in light fresh snow for a few hours without turning kids' feet into ice blocks. Absolutely infuriating.
The worst £16 I have ever spent! These have only been worn in mud and light rain and each time my child's feet are wet and dirty. We dry every time we get home but after just 2 weeks the insides smell like death and I pull the insole out to find stinking mould! This is what happens when you purchase cheaply made 100% polyester boots. Not fit for purpose.
So disappointed as these boots looked great and good value, and thought they'd be great for walking to school in cold weather but they are not at all weatherproof - After walking through wet grass (dewy morning) for less than 5 minutes my sons socks were soaked through. Can't see how they'd work walking in snow....
